Russia’s Offensive Fronts Drop from 13 to 7, Says Ukraine’s Top Commander.
Decline in Russian Military Activity
According to Espreso.tv: In an interview with TSN, Ukraine’s Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi reported a notable reduction in both the number of active Russian offensive axes and overall enemy activity. According to him, the main directions where the adversary is conducting active assaults have fallen from 13 to 7, with four of these considered primary. The total number of daily assault operations has also dropped significantly, now averaging 250 per day—of which 45–50% are carried out by Ukrainian units.
Technological Edge and Battlefield Dynamics
The ratio of ammunition usage between Ukrainian forces and the enemy has improved from 1:2 to between 1.6 and 1.8. From the start of the day on June 30 until 10:00 PM, 203 combat engagements occurred on the front line. Syrskyi highlighted that
“Our Middle Strike operations, targeting logistics, have already halved the Russians’ offensive potential at this moment,”adding that enemy artillery usage has also declined. The commander stressed the growing role of technology in modern warfare, stating:
“We are increasing and emphasizing the technological component.”However, he cautioned that “The situation on the front remains difficult, and underestimating the enemy would be a mistake,” while acknowledging “Certain signs of their exhaustion.”
These developments indicate that despite positive shifts in enemy activity, Ukrainian forces remain on high alert and continue to closely analyze frontline conditions. The reduction in Russian operations may reflect the effectiveness of Ukrainian countermeasures and the integration of new technologies into combat. Yet, as Syrskyi warned, the situation is still volatile, and Ukraine’s military must stay vigilant, as the adversary could regroup and strike again. This dynamic environment demands constant readiness and adaptability from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
