Scandalous Accident Involving Deputy Aryev's Daughter. The Suspect's House Arrest Expires Today.
The house arrest of deputy Volodymyr Aryev's daughter, Yaryna Aryeva, accused of a traffic accident, has expired. This is evidenced by data from the Registry of Court Decisions.
Obolonskyi District Court of Kyiv extended Aryeva's house arrest until November 4, 2024. Today this term ends.
There is no other ruling in the Registry of Court Decisions on extending the house arrest term, nor on obligations restricting her (prohibition on driving a car, prohibition on leaving the Kyiv region).
Let us recall that the Obolonskyi District Court of Kyiv began the trial against Yaryna Aryeva in October this year. She is accused of committing a traffic accident under the influence of drugs. At present, there is no information in the Registry of Court Decisions about extending her arrest or freedom restrictions.
According to the investigation, Yaryna Aryeva, who was a deputy of the Kyiv City Council at the Time of the accident, caused a traffic accident in the capital on November 27, 2022, driving a Volkswagen Polo under the influence of drugs. In May 2023, she was notified of suspicion.
“...the woman (Aryeva), realizing that the state she is in affects her attention and reaction, failed to assess the change in the road situation and hit a female pedestrian on a crosswalk, causing her serious bodily injuries,” informed the capital's prosecutor's office at the time.
As a result of the accident, the female pedestrian suffered fractures of the humerus and jaw, fractures of limbs, a craniocerebral trauma, and other injuries. Yaryna Aryeva faces three to eight years of imprisonment.
