Data has emerged about how many drones Russian forces launched on the territory of Ukraine in 2025. According to information from UA War Infographics, in the first seven months of this year, the Russians launched over 29,000 drones, which is 11 times more than in the same period last year. The Ukrainian Defense Forces managed to shoot down and destroy 88% of these hostile drones.
In July 2025, Russia set an anti-record for the number of drones launched on the territory of Ukraine, launching more than 6,000 strike drones.
The volume of drones that the Russians took to the air in just the first seven months of 2025 indicates an increase in activity in the conflict zone. A similar rise in the number of drone bombings indicates strategic changes in Russia's tactics in eastern Ukraine.
