The Ministry of Justice reported that due to violations of mobilization rules, the bank accounts of 26 thousand citizens of Ukraine have been blocked. The decision to block accounts is made by the court if the conscript does not pay a fine for evading mobilization. New data on the number of blocked accounts will be published after April 1.

For timely updating of personal data or failing to comply with a summons to the TCC, fines for individuals range from 17 to 25 thousand hryvnias. For legal entities, the fine is even higher. Such sanctions are established by Article 210 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses.

If the fine is not paid, the case is transferred from the TCC to the police, which can track down the offender. In the event of continued non-payment of the fine, there is a possibility of account arrest or the revocation of driving licenses. However, decisions regarding account blocking are made exclusively by the court.

The Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Ivan Havryliuk, explained that the territorial recruitment and social support centers are responsible for accounting for mobilized citizens and selecting them for conscription into the Defense Forces. They do not have the authority to track down evaders - this is the task of local government agencies and law enforcement agencies.
