Zelensky warned of new massive Russian strikes: the enemy wants to take advantage of the cold weather

According to ТСН: According to available information, Russian occupiers are planning a new massive attack on Ukraine, trying to use the cold weather as an additional tool of pressure.

This was reported by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in his evening address.

Warning about danger

The president emphasized the necessity of responding promptly to all danger signals that may arise in the near future.

“There is information that there may be a new massive Russian strike tonight. It is very important to pay attention to air alerts today, tomorrow, constantly, to go to shelters,” Zelensky said.

He also explained the reasons for the enemy's actions:

“The Russians are consistent: they try to take advantage of the weather.”

Situation in the energy sector

At the same time, energy services continue to eliminate the consequences of previous attacks. The most difficult situation is observed in Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions.

  • Zaporizhzhia region: energy supply was restored according to schedules earlier in the day.

  • Dnipropetrovsk region: in Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Nikopol, and Pavlohrad, work continues without pause.

Zelensky added that unfortunately, new strikes occurred today, including on energy facilities and the civilian sector, for example, in Kryvyi Rih — on residential buildings.

The president instructed the government to provide maximum support to local authorities and all services involved in restoration work.

It should be noted that Russia carried out a missile strike on Kryvyi Rih, which led to destruction and casualties. Currently, there are 10 wounded known, including a child.

The situation in Ukraine remains tense, and the president's warning highlights the high risk of new attacks. The authorities are actively working on restoring energy infrastructure, but challenges remain significant in the face of constant threats from the enemy. Citizens are urged to remain cautious and adhere to all safety measures.
