Zelensky and US Special Representative Held Productive Meeting: Details of Negotiations.
According to ТСН: Today, a meeting took place between the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, and the US President's Special Representative, Steve Witkoff, which was held in a positive atmosphere.
“Today's meeting between Witkoff and Zelensky was productive,” wrote Ravid.
Although the details of the negotiations are not yet disclosed, the journalist's words indicate a constructive nature of cooperation between the parties.
Negotiations in Berlin
It should be reminded that on Monday, negotiations between the President of Ukraine and the American delegation, led by Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, concluded in Berlin.
After finishing talks with American partners, Zelensky headed to a scheduled meeting with the Federal President of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
Second Round of Negotiations
Earlier, on December 15, Ukrainian and American delegations gathered in Berlin for the second round of negotiations regarding the US peace plan to end the war in Ukraine.
Following the previous, five-hour meeting, Witkoff stated that “significant progress has been made”, noting that “in-depth discussions” covered the 20-point peace plan.
These negotiations take place against the backdrop of a tense situation in Ukraine, and the effectiveness of meetings with American representatives may significantly influence the further development of events. Cooperation with the US plays an important role for Ukraine in its efforts to restore peace and stability in the region.
