In the video address, the temporary charge d'affaires of the U.S. in Russia, J. Douglas Dikehouse, delivered greetings to the Russian people.

"Dear friends, Happy New Year! With the onset of the New Year, on behalf of the American people, I sincerely wish you and your families well. Dikehouse emphasized that the last few years had been challenging, bringing loss and division. However, he noted that "the conflict does not define the future if we do not allow it to."
