The USA is stronger than Putin: Zelensky revealed the key to ending the war in Ukraine.
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, noted that the end of the war in Ukraine largely depends on the United States, which has enough leverage over the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin.
According to the words of the head of state, it is currently critically important to maintain unity between Ukraine, the USA, and Europe. He emphasized that the war could be resolved diplomatically, even without Putin's participation in the negotiations.
'Putin is weaker than the United States of America. The President of the USA has the power, authority, and weaponry, and he can lower the price of energy resources,' Zelensky emphasized.
Zelensky warns that if American assistance is reduced, Ukraine will continue the struggle but may face defeat. 'We have our own production, but it is not enough to gain an advantage. And I think it is not enough to survive,' he added.
These statements by the President of Ukraine were made amid concerns over possible diminished support for Kyiv from newly elected US President Donald Trump.
According to Reuters, Putin expressed readiness to discuss a ceasefire in Ukraine with Trump, but rules out territorial concessions and insists on Ukraine's refusal to join NATO.
