Ukrainian expert Oleg Lisnyy expressed doubts that US President Donald Trump is ready to act more decisively against Russia due to unmet promises from Putin. He noted that Trump often pretends to be an advocate for Putin rather than punishing him for failing to fulfill agreements. The expert also pointed out that Europe is ramping up its efforts to support Ukraine, especially after Trump announced the withdrawal of the United States from Europe. According to the expert, other countries, including Japan, may also join in efforts to guarantee security for Ukraine.Overall, the expert emphasized the importance of continuing sanctions pressure and oversight over any cooperation with Russia, even in the long term.
