The 'Army+' service presented a new service that allows military personnel in the Armed Forces to change their place of service. With this service, more than 1.5 thousand reports have been processed, of which more than 500 were fully approved, reported the Ministry of Defense.

Minister for Digital Transformation Kateryna Chernohorenko noted that 'the number of reports indicates that military personnel were waiting for the opportunity to change their place of service without lengthy approvals, bureaucracy, and baseless rejections. Instead, the number of approvals demonstrates that the service is functioning effectively. Digitalization continues to transform our military into the military of the future, where any service is obtained simply, transparently, and quickly.'

How to change your place of service through 'Army+':

To change the place of service, you need to submit a report along with a military ticket or officer ID and a recommendation letter from another unit. In some cases, a VLK conclusion may be required, for example, if a soldier wants to transfer from a combat unit to a rear unit. Then the report goes to the Human Resources Center of the Armed Forces. If there are no grounds for refusal, an order is prepared, which is subsequently signed either by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces or the Chief of the General Staff. If the military is denied, they will receive an explanation of why this happened.

Most common reasons for refusals when trying to change the place of service:

  • reports are submitted by military personnel who do not serve in the Armed Forces;
  • absence of VLK conclusion for transfer to a rear unit from a combat unit;
  • missing copies of all pages of the military document with records of service.

In the 'Army+' application, a function has been launched for submitting reports to change the place of service. Now military personnel of the Armed Forces can quickly and without unnecessary bureaucracy submit a report for transfer to another unit.

The government has adopted a resolution that introduces a real and transparent mechanism for transfers for our soldiers between military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This pertains specifically to transfers initiated by the soldiers.

In the 'Army+' application, a report can be created. The Ministry of Defense notes that the application allows users to compose, sign, send, and track the electronic report. The Ministry has released a video explaining how to do this.
