Naftogaz clarified that it is important to submit gas meter readings on time and presented актуальні methods of data submission after the 104.ua service has been discontinued.

According to the information released by 'GazPravda', for correct calculation of gas payments, consumers need to submit meter readings every month from the first to the fifth day. If this requirement is ignored, average values calculated based on the last three years of consumption will be used in the bills.

Instead of the 104.ua service, consumers can use the personal account of the national gas network operator or local gas distribution network operators. There are also alternative methods for submitting readings: the ges.ua chatbot from Naftogaz of Ukraine, SMS messages to number 4647, or contacting the call center.

It is also important to submit readings even in the absence of gas consumption or temporary absence in the home. Otherwise, the gas distribution operator will charge for planned volumes. One option is to write a statement to the gas distribution operator about temporary absence.

For consumers whose property has been damaged as a result of military actions, a special procedure is provided: upon submission of relevant documents, charges for gas and its delivery cease from the moment of property damage.
