Starlink has again gone down along the entire front line: what is the situation with communication.
According to inkorr.com: The Commander of the Drone Forces Robert Brovdi, with the call sign 'Hungarian', noted that there are issues with Starlink operation along the entire front line. This was reported by 'Glavkom', citing his message on Telegram.
'Starlink has again gone down along the entire front', - the message states.
According to data from the Downdetector service, issues with Starlink are being reported not only in Ukraine. Brovdi added that as of 08:02, the restoration of Starlink's operation has already begun.
Alternatives when Starlink goes down
As former Defense Minister Rustem Umerov informed, in case Starlink goes down, Ukraine has alternative options. In particular, the country received 5,000 additional Starlink terminals from Poland to ensure uninterrupted communication in critical areas.
It is also worth noting that earlier, the U.S. State Department approved the sale of satellite communication services and equipment for Starlink to Ukraine, as well as Patriot air defense systems. In response to a request from the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers, the U.S. is ready to provide engineering, technical, and logistical services for the Starlink terminals.
Representatives of the Ukrainian military reported that Starlink temporarily went offline at the front, but the process of restoring communication is already underway. There are also alternative technologies available, including additional Starlink terminals from Poland. The U.S. actively supports Ukraine by providing the necessary services and equipment to ensure uninterrupted communication at the front.
The situation with communication at the front is critically important for the Ukrainian military, as it ensures coordination of actions and the receipt of operational information. Significant support from the U.S. and Poland, particularly in the form of additional Starlink terminals, significantly increases the chances of uninterrupted communication even in difficult conditions. This confirms the continuation of international support for Ukraine in its struggle for independence.
