Starmer during a meeting with Zelensky: Britain will support Ukraine 'as long as needed'.

President Volodymyr Zelensky met with Prime Minister Keir Starmer at his residence at Downing Street 10, assuring him of the United Kingdom's support.
'You have full support throughout the United Kingdom, and we will support you and Ukraine for as long as it takes,' Starmer said during the meeting.
Keir Starmer also stated that the United Kingdom is determined to achieve 'lasting peace for Ukraine, based on sovereignty and security.' He also noted that people welcomed the President of Ukraine when he arrived at the residence.
Zelensky thanked the British people for their support since the beginning of the Russian invasion. 'Thank you very much, Keir, happy to be here. Thank you to the British people for their support from the very beginning of the war,' the president said.
The president also reported that he would meet with King Charles III tomorrow.
It is worth noting that both politicians met with Donald Trump at the White House this week. Zelensky's meeting ended in scandal when journalists asked him about his message to Trump and the possibility of saving the deal, but he did not respond.
We remind that Duda and Rutte are urging Zelensky to restore relations with Trump for the sake of peace.
