Ukrainian firm Stetman is driving forward an ambitious initiative to establish a domestic satellite constellation, ensuring secure and sovereign satellite communications for the country. The project carries a price tag of $1.1 billion and is slated for full completion by 2030.

Phased Deployment and Key Milestones

The plan involves deploying 360 low‑Earth orbit satellites operating at roughly 550 kilometers above the ground. The first phase, set for 2027, will see 120 spacecraft launched aboard SpaceX rockets. This initial deployment represents a critical step toward building Ukraine’s own satellite infrastructure.
