The Solomiansky District Court in Kyiv has chosen a preventive measure for the official of the Tourism and Promotions Department of the KMDA, who was detained while receiving a bribe of 25 thousand US dollars. The woman will remain in custody but has the opportunity to be released on bail of nearly 1 million hryvnias.

Case Details
The detention took place on July 17 — the official was caught receiving an illicit benefit in exchange for facilitating the access of a tenant to a food establishment through an arch belonging to the property of the Tourism and Promotions Department of the KMDA.
Also detained was the director of the capital's municipal market. Both have been charged under part 4 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The court is to choose a preventive measure for the market director on July 19. The investigation continues at the request of the SBU and the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office.
The detained official from the Tourism and Promotions Department of the KMDA received a preventive measure in the form of detention, but has the option to be released on bail.
