The court sentenced a resident of Lviv region for bribing employees of the MSEC.

The man was fined 18,700 UAH for giving a bribe
The Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Lviv handed down a verdict in the case of a man who handed over 4,000 dollars to intermediaries to obtain a disability group. This amount was intended for unidentified employees of the Halytska interdistrict MSEC.
According to the verdict, unidentified employees of the Halytska interdistrict MSEC involved two intermediaries in the scheme to obtain bribes. Separate criminal proceedings have been opened against these individuals.
The intermediary informed the client that to obtain a disability group, he needed to pay 3,000 dollars to the officials of the Halytska interdistrict MSEC in Lviv. In September 2024, the client received a certificate confirming the acquisition of the third disability group for one year. After receiving the document, the man handed over another 1,000 dollars to the intermediary.
A criminal case has been initiated against the client for giving a bribe. He entered into a plea agreement with the prosecutor. The case was reviewed by Judge Ruslan Yezerskyi, who analyzed all the materials, confirmed the plea agreement, and imposed a fine of 18,700 UAH on the defendant. The verdict can be appealed.
The criminal case against the two intermediaries in the bribe-taking scheme by MSEC officials is being investigated as part of a separate proceeding.
