The judges in the Boguslaiev case have taken a self-withdrawal in full, – lawyer.

Last week, the panel of judges of the Solomyansky District Court of Kyiv decided to withdraw from the case of the owner of the Motor Sich plant, Vyacheslav Boguslaiev. This was reported by lawyer Rostislav Kravets. He noted that his client was held in custody against his will without any grounds. The lawyer also mentioned that the European Court of Human Rights should make a decision on his complaint.

The lawyer did not name his client, but indicated that this is an '86-year-old Chief Designer of helicopter technology' and describes the accusations against Boguslaiev.

According to the lawyer, this is a violation of human rights that must be stopped. His client has been held in the pre-trial detention center for three years, despite his age and deteriorating health.

He is accused of supplying engines to the Russian Federation through China, but there is no evidence that this actually happened. The lawyer points out that all engines are in China and have not been re-exported.

The lawyer claims that his client's guilt is 'established solely in the Presidential Decree, which actually does not exist.' Kravets hopes that soon it will be allowed to change the preventive measure and he will be able to await an acquittal verdict.

Recall that Boguslaiev was arrested in October 2022 for collaborationist activities and aiding the aggressor state.
