Bags, toys, scooter. Utility workers in Kropyvnytskyi showed 'treasures' from the sewer.

In the city of Kropyvnytskyi, utility workers find various items in the sewage pipes every day - from bags and flash drives to toys and hygiene products. They often have to descend inside to clean the pipes. Each day they receive between 30 to 70 requests, but the number of completed tasks depends on the volume of work. In Kropyvnytskyi, water drainage workers spent three weeks cleaning a clogged pipe with a diameter of 50 centimeters on Independence Street. To free it, they descended into a six-meter well. Initially, water was washed out using a hydro-dynamic machine, and then it was removed manually.
A clogged sewer caused basements of high-rise buildings to flood. Municipal pipes revealed remnants, large bags, cat litter fillers, rags, and construction debris.
In one day, workers resolve 50 meters of pipe, and they pull out 500-600 kg of sludge and garbage from the sewage well. The work is complicated by an unpleasant odor.
Workers also noted that items that should not be there, such as children's toys, end up in the sewer pipes. They urged people to be sensible and not to throw garbage into the sewer.
