Satellite Connectivity in Smartphones: Which Models Already Support This Emerging Feature.
Satellite Communication on Mobile Devices
According to Novyny.live: Smartphones with satellite capabilities allow users to send messages even when no traditional cellular network is available. While this technology has not yet become mainstream and is mostly found in premium flagship devices, several manufacturers have already begun integrating it into their latest models.
Phones That Include Satellite Support
Which smartphones currently offer satellite connectivity? To begin with, every model in the iPhone 14 lineup and later versions come equipped with this feature. Additionally, satellite communication is available on Samsung’s Galaxy S26 series. Google has also entered the field by incorporating satellite-based emergency messaging into its Pixel 9 and Pixel 10 devices.
Other manufacturers include:
- Huawei has introduced the Pura 70 Pro+, nova 14 Ultra, nova 14, and nova 14 Pro, all of which support satellite messaging.
- Xiaomi has followed suit with the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra, both offering satellite connectivity.
As a result, satellite communication is becoming more accessible to everyday users, greatly expanding the possibilities for staying connected in areas where standard mobile networks are unavailable. This is especially valuable in regions with limited coverage or during emergencies when conventional communication channels may be disrupted. The gradual adoption of this technology in new smartphone models signals its potential to become a standard component of modern communication solutions.
