February 2026 Gas Tariffs: Annual Rates Hold Steady as Monthly Costs Increase

According to Novyny.live: Ukrainian natural gas suppliers have announced their tariffs for February 2026, revealing that annual subscription rates will remain unchanged while monthly prices see a significant hike. The base annual tariff from 'Naftogaz Ukrainy' is set at UAH 7.96 per cubic meter. The overall range for annual gas costs varies from UAH 7.96 to UAH 9.99 per cubic meter. This pricing structure is part of the country's ongoing energy market reforms following the full-scale invasion.

In contrast, monthly tariffs have risen by more than UAH 2 compared to January. The monthly gas cost now ranges from UAH 8.46 to UAH 28 per cubic meter. This increase will directly impact consumers, as 98% of households—over 12 million—are customers of 'Naftogaz Ukrainy' and will feel the effect of the new pricing.

Gas Delivery Service Tariff

Separately, the tariff for gas delivery services for non-household consumers will remain at UAH 1.69 per 1 m³ per month (excluding VAT) until March 31, 2026. Starting April 1, 2026, this delivery service tariff will increase to UAH 1.99 per 1 m³ per month (excluding VAT).

The tariff adjustments could substantially affect household budgets, particularly for those using gas for heating and cooking. While the decision to freeze annual rates might signal suppliers' intent to stabilize the gas market long-term, consumers are already facing the immediate negative consequences of higher monthly bills.
