According to The Sun: The incident came as a great shock to the local community: a teenager died after jumping into a lion enclosure at a zoo in Brazil. 19-year-old Gerson Machado had previously attempted to reach Africa, dreaming of becoming an aircraft designer to fulfill his dream of working with big cats.
The teenager, who had long been in the foster care system and had mental health issues, was captured on video as he descended into the enclosure.
'He always dreamed of becoming a big cat trainer,' witnesses of the event noted.
The situation has generated significant public interest, and local authorities are now conducting an investigation to clarify the circumstances of the tragedy. Authorities hope that the investigation results will help prevent similar incidents in the future and enhance safety for both visitors and animals.
