Salaries in the Armed Forces of Ukraine may equal NATO: how much military personnel will receive.
According to Ukrainian MP Ruslan Gorbenko, funding for military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine may rise to the level of NATO armies. According to the plan, soldiers in the Ukrainian army may receive up to 50 thousand Hryvnias per month, even in rear units.
MP Ruslan Gorbenko explained that the current government is working to increase the salaries of military personnel in the Armed Forces of Ukraine to reach the level of NATO member countries. The minimum salary for NATO military personnel is 2300 euros per month.
Salary increases will primarily affect the rear military personnel of the Ukrainian army. According to the plan, the salaries of various ranks of military personnel may rise to the following ranges: soldiers - 50,000 Hryvnias, sergeant staff - from 70,000 Hryvnias and above, junior officers - 75-80 thousand Hryvnias.
Last year, allowances for military personnel in July 2025 were based on other amounts, which were also reported.
In recent years, the Ukrainian government has been working to increase the salaries of military personnel in the Armed Forces of Ukraine to bring their salaries closer to the level of NATO member countries. According to plans, the biggest increases will be received by rear military personnel, with the possibility of 50 thousand Hryvnias per month for soldiers. These steps are aimed at strengthening the country's defense capabilities and supporting military personnel.
