The rear regions of Ukraine have decided to create a reserve of material and technical means for the troop groupings 'Khortytsia' and 'Tavriya' at their own expense. This was reported by the Deputy Head of the OP Viktor Mykytas.
According to Mykytas, this reserve is being formed from the funds of local budgets of the rear regions. Already now, the reserve has been financed for over 370 million UAH, which has been spent on unmanned aerial vehicles, batteries, electronic warfare means, and other material and technical means.
'Together with the communities and regions, we are performing an important mission - forming a 'strategic reserve' of material and technical means for the troop groupings of the Joint Forces Operation 'Khortytsia' and the Joint Forces Operation 'Tavriya'. By the order of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, a new mechanism for effective support of combat brigades has been developed, which allows for the operational and targeted provision of the needs of units in UAVs, electronic warfare, communication means, office equipment, and so on, according to the requests of the commanders of the groupings exactly where it is critically necessary to repel the enemy's advance and inflict maximum losses on them,' he noted.During military operations, it is extremely important to have adequate support and reserve of material and technical means for troop groupings. Ukrainian rear regions have decided to independently create such a reserve to provide military units with the necessary resources to fulfill their tasks.
