Absence of information regarding Mindich's departure
According to inkorr.com: Spokesman of the State Border Guard Service Andriy Demchenko reported that there is no information about the departure of businessman and co-owner of 'Kvartal 95' Timur Mindich from Ukraine on November 10. Meanwhile, according to media information, citing law enforcement agencies, Mindich left the country just hours before a raid conducted by NABU detectives. This information was disclosed by 'Glavkom', citing 'RBK-Ukraine'.
Demchenko also noted that the State Border Guard Service has no right to disclose details about the border crossing of third parties.
Raids on Haluschenko and Mindich
On November 10, representatives of NABU are conducting raids on former Minister of Energy Herman Haluschenko. This was reported by people's deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak, adding that raids are also ongoing at 'Energoatom'.
In particular, on the morning of November 10, detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau arrived with searches at the businessman, co-owner of 'Kvartal 95', associate of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy Timur Mindich. According to sources from RBK-Ukraine, the raids on Timur Mindich and Herman Haluschenko are being conducted within the framework of one case concerning corruption in the energy sector.
Later, NABU and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office confirmed that they are conducting a large-scale operation to expose corruption in the energy sector. It became known that members of the criminal organization created a wide corruption scheme to influence strategic state enterprises, including JSC 'NAEK 'Energoatom'.
A representative of the State Border Guard Service noted that he cannot comment on the information regarding Timur Mindich's departure, although, according to other sources, the businessman left the country before the raids. Currently, NABU and the prosecutor's office are conducting an operation to expose corruption schemes in the energy sector concerning Mindich and Haluschenko.
The events surrounding the raids on Mindich and Haluschenko indicate serious problems in the Ukrainian energy sector. The tense situation indicates an intensification of control measures by law enforcement agencies to combat corruption.
