According to The Sun: A firefighter from the New York City Fire Department (FDNY) died while fighting a level five fire in Brooklyn, prompting numerous expressions of sympathy.
42-year-old Patrick Brady, who served in the fire department for 11 years, suffered a 'medical episode' and subsequently experienced a fatal heart attack while battling the flames on the roof.
“This is a great loss not only for our department but for the entire community,” said an FDNY representative.
