Meanwhile, Trump warned that if he wanted, he could destroy China using 'incredible trump cards'. However, the US president did not clarify what exactly he meant by trump cards - economic resources, political influence, or something else.
Donald Trump also expressed a desire to meet with the dictator of North Korea Kim Jong-un.
In the meantime, Pyongyang has again criticized the US, expressing condemnation for the joint military exercises of the US and South Korea. They claim that it indicates Washington's desire to occupy the Korean Peninsula.
The joint military actions started on August 18 and will last for 11 days. One of the main goals is to deter North Korea.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China stated that they support all efforts to achieve peace in Ukraine and welcome dialogue between the US and Russia.
