'What happens after this meeting depends on President Trump, and this partly explains the reason for his trip. He wants to see how to move forward, stop the war, and restore peace'— added Levitt.
Earlier, Trump expressed hope for an agreement with Putin regarding Ukraine, but doubts a quick ceasefire from Russia. There are speculations that he avoids the participation of Ukrainian President Zelensky in the negotiations due to possible complications or even the risk of derailing the meeting.
