After lengthy negotiations, the press conference between Trump and Putin turned out to be quite brief. Despite the fact that no agreements were reached regarding a ceasefire, Trump considers the meeting overall to be quite good. According to the American president himself, many points were agreed upon, but some remained unresolved, possibly the most important of which is the cessation of war in eastern Ukraine. The diplomatic process is ongoing, and Trump has already stated that he will call NATO leaders and President Zelensky of Ukraine for further actions. After the meeting with Putin, Trump rated it a 10 out of 10 and ended his trip to Alaska without a festive lunch. This further emphasizes the importance of negotiations, although currently no specific agreements have been publicly announced.
