The US President is ready to provide air support to Ukraine to ensure security
US President Donald Trump does not rule out air support for Ukraine as a security guarantee. This was reported by Sky News, citing White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt.
Earlier, the American leader stated that the United States could focus on air operations for Ukraine.
'The President made it clear that American troops will not be present on Ukrainian territory, but we can certainly assist in coordination and possibly provide other security guarantees to our European allies. The President understands that security guarantees are critically important for ensuring a lasting peace, and has instructed his national security team to coordinate actions with our friends in Europe, as well as continue to collaborate and discuss these issues with Ukraine and Russia,' Levitt stated.
Switzerland is ready to host a meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Putin. The latter is promised immunity from prosecution by the International Criminal Court.
