Trump speaks about large-scale sanctions against the Russian Federation until a truce is reached in Ukraine.
U.S. President Donald Trump is considering the introduction of large-scale banking sanctions and tariffs against Russia until a truce and a final peace agreement regarding Ukraine is reached.
In a message published on the social network Truth Social on March 7, Trump justified the possible strengthening of economic measures by stating that 'Russia is absolutely 'trampling' Ukraine on the battlefield right now.'
— I am seriously considering the introduction of large-scale banking sanctions, sanctions, and tariffs against Russia until a ceasefire and a final peace agreement are reached, — Trump wrote.
The American leader also urged both sides of the conflict to immediately start negotiations. 'Russia and Ukraine: sit at the negotiating table right now before it is too late,' — emphasized the President of the USA.
