The Third Stormtrooper Named the Main Task of the Defense Forces in Kharkiv Region.

The Third Separate Stormtrooper Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine actively continues its offensive operations in Kharkiv region in order to destroy the occupiers and destroy the enemy's defensive positions. The brigade's spokesperson, Alexander Borodin, spoke about the situation and tasks in this sector of the front on the air of 'Ukrainske Radio'.

The main goal of the operation is to undermine the Russian army's ability to maintain its positions. Borodin noted that due to losses, Russian forces are no longer able to maintain a stable defense. This creates uncertainty for them regarding the ability to hold positions during new Ukrainian counterattacks.

Russian forces are in a situation where they are not sure if they can hold their positions with the same forces if the Ukrainian Armed Forces launch new offensives. Their attacks also have a partially defensive character, a brigade spokesperson pointed out.

An important aspect of the operation is the destruction of Russian armored vehicles, which has been one of the main achievements in recent weeks. The Russian army has practically unlimited resources of manpower and means such as FPV drones and artillery ammunition. However, the situation is much more complicated with armored vehicles and artillery installations, as the Russian military-industrial complex is not able to restore these resources quickly. That is why their destruction is an important tactical task for the Ukrainian military.

One of the key goals of the Third Stormtrooper Brigade's operation was to restrain the forces of the 20th Russian Army of the Armed Forces of Russia, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces have succeeded in this. However, the enemy's forces significantly outnumber the Ukrainian ones - at least one or even two enemy divisions per our brigade. This applies not only to personnel but also to support from aviation and artillery.

The enemy forces significantly outnumber us not only in quantity but also in terms of support means. At the same Time, our soldiers demonstrate significant progress in achieving the set tasks, a representative of the Third Stormtrooper said.

It is worth reminding that earlier the Third Stormtrooper Brigade reported that Russian occupiers are moving armored vehicles towards the Kharkiv direction, which may indicate preparations for an offensive.
