Trump warns of mass bloodshed in Gaza: details of the peace agreement.
Peace Talks in Gaza
According to The Sun: Donald Trump warned of possible 'massive bloodshed' in Gaza as important peace talks begin.
Trump emphasized that he would not tolerate delays from Hamas, as the US aims for a rapid ceasefire this week.
APTrump called on both sides to act decisively, saying 'if this is not done, all bets will be off.'
The first talks will begin today in Cairo, Egypt, on the second anniversary of the Hamas attack on October 7, which killed 251 people.
This planned attack led to a brutal conflict causing numerous casualties and destruction on both sides.
Currently, hopes for an end to the war have risen to record levels in recent months.
Mediators from Hamas, the US, Qatar, and Egypt will gather to prepare for indirect talks between Hamas and Israel if all goes well.
The White House sent two representatives to Egypt – Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, and Middle East negotiator, Steven Vitko.
Trump stated that talks between Israel, Hamas, and other mediators have been 'very positive.'
“These talks have been very successful and are moving quickly. I received information that the first phase should be completed this week, and I urge everyone to act swiftly. Time is of the essence; otherwise, a massive bloodshed will occur – something no one wants to see.”
This comes after Hamas agreed to some points of a 20-point peace plan proposed by Washington.
They stated their readiness to release the last hostages – among which 20 are believed to be alive – and hand over leadership of Gaza to Palestinian technocrats.

While the US called on Israel to stop bombing Gaza before negotiations in Egypt, Secretary of State Marco Rubio stressed:
“You cannot release hostages during airstrikes; therefore, the bombing must stop.”
At the beginning of the week, Trump also announced that the peace process would begin once Hamas accepts a proposal for a partial evacuation of Israeli forces from Gaza. He asserted that Tel Aviv agreed to an initial evacuation line presented by Hamas.

Many questions remain, as the plan expects an immediate ceasefire and the return of the living hostages from Hamas within 72 hours.
In exchange for this, the release of nearly 2000 Palestinian prisoners from Israeli prisons is expected.
Hamas, for its part, insists that the future of Gaza must be discussed within a comprehensive Palestinian national program.
Netanyahu's Promises
Netanyahu warned of the inevitability of Gaza's demilitarization, emphasizing:
“Hamas will be disarmed, and Gaza will be demilitarized – whether by a soft or hard path, but it will be achieved.”
Hamas has expressed readiness to hand over the administration of Gaza to an independent Palestinian technocratic body provided there is national consensus.
If successful peace is achieved, 48 hostages may be freed, of which only 20 are believed to be alive.
In the meantime, humanitarian aid may significantly reach the region, where Hamas reports more than 66,000 Palestinian fatalities due to the conflict.
A new “Peace Committee” led by Trump is planned to be created in the coming days, which will work on rebuilding the region before peace-loving Palestinians come to power.
