Businessmen in Turkey believe that the "all-inclusive" system is becoming ineffective, and therefore the number of hotels that apply it will decrease. This was stated by Mustafa Korkutata, a member of the Ankara Young Entrepreneurs Association, in an interview with the newspaper Türkiye.

According to Korkutata, about $1.4 billion is spent unproductively each year. He also noted that all inclusive leads to the disposal of a large amount of food, which is not fully used. In particular, up to 400 grams of food may end up in the trash from each plate.

The businessman believes that hotels will try to switch to new food formats for vacationers. One option could be cooperation with restaurateurs. Tourists will be taken out of hotels in the evenings, brought to the city center, and then taken to dinner at restaurants with which the hotels have agreements. This approach will allow businesses to earn more and compete more effectively with neighboring Greece in terms of prices.

Previously, representatives of the Turkish tourism industry had already suggested revisiting the "all-inclusive" format in hotels. They believe that it is necessary to change the selection options for individual services, in particular, to abandon the provision of alcohol under such a format.
