Trump may visit Russia: what is known about the possible visit.
The White House press secretary Caroline Levitt announced the possible visit of the leader of the United States to Russia. According to her, these plans may be realized in the future.
Caroline Levitt said this at a press conference at the White House on Tuesday, August 12.
'There may be plans to visit Russia later', Levitt stated regarding Trump.
She noted that on August 15 the leader of the States will meet with the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin in Alaska.
It is worth recalling that on August 11 Trump mistakenly stated that he would go to Russia for a meeting with Putin, rather than to Alaska.
Moreover, the White House explained why the Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky was not invited to the meeting between Trump and Putin.
The White House press secretary reported on the possible visit of Trump to Russia, as well as the planned meeting with Putin in Alaska. She also noted that the Ukrainian leader Zelensky did not receive an invitation to the meeting.
