Before the summit, in preparation for it, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer discussed the importance of a tripartite meeting with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky. It is worth noting that the Kremlin stated that Steven Witkoff, the US President's special representative, misunderstood the terms regarding the ceasefire during the meeting with Putin, and Andriy Sybiga responded to the Russian side's demands to Ukraine regarding territorial issues in exchange for peace.
