“I have declared a state of emergency and imposed a curfew in downtown Los Angeles to stop vandalism and prevent looting. Many businesses have been affected by vandals, 23 businesses were looted last night, causing significant damage to businesses and many properties. Therefore, if you do not live or work in downtown Los Angeles, avoid the area. Law enforcement will arrest those who violate the curfew and hold them accountable.”
