A man died under a tram in the center of Lviv. Law enforcement is considering the version of suicide.
Yesterday, March 31, in the center of Lviv on Ruska street, a tram killed a man. This was reported by Glavcom, citing the Lviv City Council.
Yesterday at approximately 22:30 on Ruska street, a tragic event occurred. During the stop of tram No. 1, an unknown person lay down under the tram wheels, resulting in fatal injuries, the city council of Lviv reported.
Currently, it is known that the tram started moving from the stop when a person found themselves under the wheels of the carriage from the side opposite to the stop. The identity of the deceased is being established. Preliminary information indicates it is a man, approximately 45 years old, without a permanent place of residence, the city council noted.
Law enforcement is studying video footage from surveillance cameras provided by the city and establishing all the circumstances of the incident, including considering the version of suicide.
It is worth noting that in the Fastiv district of the Kyiv region, a fatal road accident occurred, resulting in the death of the driver of an Opel Corsa.
