Weather in Ukraine: snow in many regions

Today, February 17, light snow is expected at night in the northern regions, and during the day in most central and eastern regions of Ukraine. No precipitation is forecasted for the rest of the country. This was reported by the 'Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center'.

At night, temperatures are expected to be between -10 and -15 degrees, and in some regions, particularly in the Carpathians, in the east of the country, Sumy and Chernihiv regions, the temperature may drop to -18 degrees. During the day, thermometers will show -2 to -7 degrees. In the southern part and in Transcarpathia, nighttime temperatures are expected to be between -6 and -11 degrees, and during the day around 0 degrees.

The wind speed will be 3-8 m/s and its direction may change.
