New paid service in the 'Diia' app

According to inkorr.com: The popular 'Diia' app plans to introduce a new paid option - the ability to change the photo in the passport displayed in the app. Deputy Prime Minister for Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov conducted a survey on this matter in the social network Threads. According to 'Glavkom', the survey results showed that most Ukrainians reacted positively to this initiative.

Fedorov asked the audience if they were willing to pay 99 UAH for changing the photo. Many users supported this proposal, noting that they are ready to spend even more since appearances change over time. Some even expressed a desire to 'lose' their documents to get a new photo.

Different opinions on the service

In addition to positive feedback, users also expressed a desire to extend this service to driver's licenses. Some commentators believe that changing the photo should be free. Others emphasize that in the context of a limited budget, the introduction of a paid service appears inappropriate. People hope that this new feature will help solve the existing problem with 'Diia.Signature', as the system currently cannot verify users due to outdated photos.

NOTARIES AND THE NEW ELECTRONIC ECOSYSTEM

Starting September 3, notaries in Ukraine can join the 'e-Notariat' system and begin working in the new electronic ecosystem. The first services for citizens will be available in 'Diia' in 2026. Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov assures that the electronic notariat will become an innovative platform that will improve notarial services, making them more modern and efficient.

Thus, the introduction of a new paid service in 'Diia' could be an important step in the digital transformation of the country, providing Ukrainians with more opportunities to manage their documents. This decision is expected to contribute not only to convenience but also to improving service, which, in turn, may increase citizens' trust in electronic services.
