In Georgia, a singer staged a performance with the Russian flag. Moscow was outraged and opened a case.
The Georgian singer shocked the audience with a performance featuring the Russian flag
As part of the Tbilisi Open Air festival, Georgian singer Erekle Getsadze staged a surprising performance that caused outrage in Russia. During his performance, the singer threw the Russian flag onto the stage, after which he pretended to roll on it. This video became particularly famous ahead of Georgia's Independence Day.
A representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, commented on this incident: 'When God did not give a man intelligence, he has to work with other organs - in this case, the one that is most often at hand.'
As a result, a criminal case was immediately initiated in Russia for smiling at the flag. This incident came after a similar one in Odessa, where the Russian flag was painted on the ceiling of the monument to Catherine II.
Support for Ukraine from international stars
Singer Nargiz Zakirova continues to support Ukraine worldwide. During her performance in Miami, she suddenly wrapped herself in a Ukrainian flag and shouted 'Glory to Ukraine!'. The audience responded with 'Glory to the heroes!' and expressed their gratitude to the singer for her support of Ukrainians in the war with Russia.
