Mourning day declared in Kharkiv on August 31.
Today mourning was declared in Kharkiv for the victims of the enemy strike on the city on August 30. Six people were killed in the Russian attack. This was reported by the mayor of Kharkiv, Igor Terekhov.
According to updated data from law enforcement officers, six people were killed in Kharkiv - two men aged 49 and 74, an 18-year-old girl, a 73-year-old woman, and a woman who was rescued last. Among the victims was also a 14-year-old girl who was killed near a playground.
97 people were injured, including 22 children. Five children are in satisfactory condition, while a 17-year-old girl is in critical condition.
I express my condolences to all who have lost their loved ones. Today mourning was declared in Kharkiv,” Terekhov noted.
Recall that on August 30, Russian invaders shelled Kharkiv with guided aerial bombs. One of the strikes hit the central part of Kharkiv, hitting a 12-story residential building.
It is worth noting that on August 30, during the shelling in Kharkiv, 18-year-old artist Nika Kozhushko was killed.
