According to TSN.ua: Patients at a medical facility in Kyiv's Rembaza district are facing conditions unfit for healthcare delivery. The clinic at 30a Boryspilska Street is operating with interior temperatures as low as -1°C, jeopardizing patient comfort and health, even as consultations continue. The heating failure stems from broken generators and a cut-off in the centralized heating supply. This crisis highlights the severe strain on Ukraine's public infrastructure, which has been heavily impacted by the ongoing war.

The clinic's director is currently on sick leave, complicating the response. With a sprawling area of 7,000 square meters, maintaining warmth in the building is a significant challenge. Meanwhile, at the neighboring outpatient clinic No. 6 on Rohozivska Street, temperatures remain at an acceptable +18°C. This disparity has caused alarm among patients forced to undergo medical procedures in the cold. One patient, Olha Vasylivna, noted:

"Getting a cardiogram is a real ordeal because you have to undress and lie on a cold couch."

The heating crisis in Rembaza has raised concerns not only among patients but also with social services. The press service of the medical department pointed out that "this facility is simply of an old Soviet design, with the polyclinic covering 7,000 square meters," which complicates heating the premises. The lack of adequate heating risks worsening the conditions of patients in need of urgent care.

Against this backdrop, Kyiv City Council plans to provide one-time financial aid of 40,000 UAH to residents whose homes have been damaged. The situation at the Rembaza clinic remains under control but requires an urgent solution to ensure patients have proper conditions for treatment.
