In Kyiv, the consequences of the Russian strike are being liquidated - photo report.
In Kyiv, efforts are underway to eliminate the consequences of the Russian shelling that occurred on the night of July 21. The occupiers struck the 'Lukianivska' metro station, as well as a residential high-rise building.
News.LIVE correspondent reports on how Kyiv residents and utility workers are coping with the aftermath of the attack.
Consequences of the Russian attack on the high-rise in Kyiv
The Russian army struck a residential building in the Shevchenkivskyi district of the capital.
As a result, a fire broke out on the second and third floors, turning residents' apartments into a pile of rubble.
The owners of one of the apartments showed journalists from News.LIVE what their home looks like inside. Fortunately, the owners were not at home at the time of the strike.
Debris is being cleared at 'Lukianivska'
For the second consecutive day, utility workers are trying to clear the debris at the 'Lukianivska' metro station, which that night endured the seventh attack from the enemy.
The station's roof has been destroyed and windows blown out, while nearby kiosks lay in ruins.
Currently, repair work is ongoing there. According to the workers, it will take another three or four days to completely 'seal' the blown-out windows. Despite the repairs, the station has already fully resumed operations.
Earlier, the police dispelled rumors of a robbery at a store on 'Lukianivska' following the enemy strike.
Additionally, an unexploded missile warhead was found near a residential building in Kyiv.
As the effects of the Russian shelling in Kyiv are examined, the severe destructive impact of aggression on the city's peaceful population becomes evident. Residential buildings and utility infrastructure have suffered from the attacks, but the work of utility services will help restore the area and ensure the safety of residents.
