In Vinnytsia region, investigators have announced suspicions against a convict for spreading criminal influence in the correctional colony. The man, who has already been convicted multiple times, is serving a sentence for property crime. According to the Main Directorate of the National Police, he gained authority among other convicts and organized criminal activities in the colony.

The police also reported that the criminal was the cause of a conflict with a 34-year-old convict who controlled the execution of sentences in the colony. During investigative actions, an electrode was confiscated from the detainee, which he intended to use to kill his opponent, as well as notebooks with rough notes and other evidence.

The investigation accuses the convict of preparing for intentional murder. For such an offense, he faces up to 15 years of imprisonment. Later, the investigation announced another suspicion against the figure - for establishing and spreading criminal influence, which is a criminal offense in a correctional facility. A suspect was also announced regarding a convict from Vinnytsia region who was sending drugs to the colony.
