A collaborator of the 'Akhmat' special unit has been eliminated in Luhansk.
In Luhansk, which is temporarily occupied, the murder of Jeyhun Salamov, co-owner of the 'Caucasus' cafe, which was used by militants of the 'Akhmat' special unit for recruitment activities, took place. This was reported by the partisans' movement 'Atesh'.
According to the partisans, the attack on 52-year-old Azerbaijani citizen Salamov occurred at the end of February. The murderer shot him in the car, firing 16 shots. This was already the third assassination attempt on Salamov.
The attacker and his accomplice, who provided the weapon, are also ethnic Azerbaijanis. One of them was detained at Moscow airport before leaving for their homeland.
Together with the other co-owner of the 'Caucasus' cafe, Sharifov Emin, Salamov actively collaborated with the Russian military after the announcement of the Russian occupation in 2014. They provided premises for meetings, organized food for the military, and personally engaged in recruitment for the 'Akhmat' squads and other Russian units.
Their establishment became a favorite stop for militants and commanders of the 'Kadyrovsky' group, as well as a gathering point for supporters of the Putin regime.
It was in this cafe that Major General Roman Kutuzov, commander of the 1st army corps of the Russian army, was killed on May 30, 2022.
Partisans emphasize that this establishment long ago lost its status as a civilian facility, as it is used for military and recruitment activities by the occupiers.
Earlier, the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated a Russian football player and a children's coach.
Also, at the hospital in St. Petersburg, Guard Captain Bato Tsidipov, a Russian occupier and two-time world champion in tank biathlon, died.
