On the night of December 24, two employees of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, who participated in the war against Ukraine and were responsible for the torture of Ukrainian prisoners of war, were killed on Yeletskaya Street in Moscow.
According to sources in the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, around 01:00, a local resident attacked the service vehicle of Russian police officers near the station. This was his way of expressing discontent with the aggressive policies of the Kremlin. As a result of the explosion, two law enforcement officers died on the spot, while two others were severely injured and hospitalized.
According to intelligence, the deceased police officers had previously fought against Ukraine as part of the RF occupation units.
It was also reported about an explosion that occurred near the police station in Moscow.
“Investigators and criminologists of the metropolitan branch of the Investigative Committee are establishing the circumstances of the incident that occurred in southern Moscow, which resulted in injuries to two traffic police officers. A criminal case has been opened due to the explosion.”
This incident underscores the growing tension within Russia, where discontent with government activities is becoming increasingly noticeable. The attack on police officers who violated the rights of Ukrainian prisoners of war may indicate that this resistance or protest has reached a new level. The further development of events may attract attention not only in Russia but also beyond its borders, as such cases spark a rapid increase in interest in the issues of war crimes and human rights during the conflict.
