In Germany, the main fear of Putin was named: it will change the course of the war.
Russian President Vladimir Putin refuses to acknowledge the possible impact of the supply of German TAURUS missiles on the situation in Ukraine. Journalists believe this may be an attempt to pressure Germany and the West, as it is from this country that the controversial missiles were supplied.
German journalist Dirk Emmerich noted that these supplies are causing significant controversy among Germans, which may impact the situation in Eastern Europe. In his opinion, the fluctuations of politicians may lead to a new conflict, keeping Ukraine on the brink of war.
'Hardly any shipment of weapons causes as much controversy as this one,' Emmerich emphasizes.
The journalist adds that the supply of TAURUS missiles could radically change the situation on the front in Ukraine and deepen the crisis in the region.
The Ukrainian army is fighting against rebels in the east of the country, and a possible strengthening of the opponents' armed forces could significantly complicate the situation. However, for now, the hope for a peaceful resolution of the conflict remains.
