Body of a man who committed suicide found at conscription gathering point

In one of the technical rooms of the preliminary conscription gathering point, the body of a man with signs of suicide was found. There were no signs of violence on him. This was reported by the Poltava Regional TCC and SP on Facebook.

On October 21, in one of the technical rooms of the preliminary conscription gathering point, the body of a man with clear signs that he had taken his own life was discovered. No signs of violence were found. Law enforcement officers were immediately called to the scene, who began investigative actions», - the statement read.

It is noted that the police delivered the man to the preliminary conscription gathering point, as he was wanted. He refused to undergo a military medical commission, so a refusal act was drawn up. A report was being prepared for the police regarding his commission of a criminal offense under Article 336 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (evasion from conscription during mobilization, in a special period, to conscription of persons from the reservists in a special period - punishable by imprisonment for a term of three to five years). Last year, the citizen had already been sentenced under this article to three years of imprisonment with a release from punishment with one year of probation, which ended in September of this year.

No physical or psychological pressure was exerted on the conscript - he was waiting at the gathering point while all documents were processed. A criminal case was initiated by law enforcement agencies regarding this fact. A service investigation is being conducted to clarify all the reasons and circumstances - added TCC employees.

Remember, on the evening of October 11, a concert of the band "Okean Elzy" took place at the Sports Palace in Kyiv. After the performance ended, several dozen TCC and SP employees, along with patrol police, were waiting for the attendees. They checked military registration documents of the conscripts. Several men, who had problems with their documents or refused to show them, were forcibly detained and taken to TCC. Some others were issued subpoenas and released.

Later, People's Deputy Mykyta Poturaiev stated that he does not consider the document checks after the "Okean Elzy" concert as a threat to Ukrainian culture.

Also, the head of the medical service "Ulf" of the separate battalion "Wolves of Da Vinci" named after Dmytro Kotsiubailo, and the beloved of the fallen Hero of Ukraine Da Vinci, Alina Mykhailova, spoke quite harshly about the TCC raid on concert attendees of "Okean Elzy". And she criticized specifically the men who attended the concert.

By the way, on October 16, the Kyiv City TCC and SP shared statistics that raids in public places supposedly increased the number of voluntary appearances of people.
