Telegram has a tool that will block the search for 'orders' for car arson.
The UA AntiSpam Bot chatbot in Telegram received a new feature - automatic deletion of comments with offers for arson of Ukrainian Armed Forces vehicles on orders from Russian curators. This is intended to combat the growing number of such messages. This was reported by the Master of Code Global company.
Administrators of Telegram channels and groups can now use the new UA AntiSpam Bot feature, which, by default, will delete comments with offers for arson of Ukrainian Armed Forces vehicles.
"We constantly see news that Ukrainians are setting fire to Ukrainian Armed Forces vehicles on orders from Russian curators from the FSB. These people promise financial rewards. The National Police and the Security Service of Ukraine have already detained over 70 people this year. Many of them were recruited through Telegram. Our feature is designed to combat this phenomenon," said Dmytro Vakulenko, engineer, idea author and developer of UA AntiSpam Bot.
UA AntiSpam Bot has already been installed in over 5,700 Ukrainian Telegram groups and channels.
Other features of UA AntiSpam Bot:
- blocking of harmful comments threatening the health of citizens and service members;
- blocking fraudulent comments and requests for assistance;
- blocking comments with explicit content and adult material;
- blocking comments in Russian.
We remind you that a 22-year-old resident was detained in Rivne, who was setting fire to service members' cars "on offer" in a Russian chat bot. The police exposed him. On July 2, the offender set fire to a Nissan Almera car belonging to a service member and immediately reported it by sending a photo of the corresponding crime.
It was previously reported that the police recorded over 200 cases of service members' cars being set on fire, about a quarter of which were committed by minors. According to the head of the National Police, these arsons are the result of the activities of Russian special services, particularly the FSB of the Russian Federation.
