A new type of assistance will be provided to wounded soldiers in Vinnytsia
Starting from 2025, a new type of assistance for wounded soldiers will be introduced in the city of Vinnytsia. This was announced by the mayor Serhiy Mortunov after a session meeting.
“This assistance will be provided to defenders who are in inpatient hospitals for 30 days or more. They will receive monetary assistance of 10,000 hryvnias per person,” reported S. Mortunov.
Additionally, a decision was made at the meeting to allocate more than 420,000 hryvnias for the development of the project 'Veterans and Their Families Space', which is managed by the Public Organization 'Flame of Hope'. Financial support for the 'Veterans Space' was also increased by 1.3 million hryvnias.
“We will also allocate 150,000 hryvnias for holding events for the children of fallen or missing Heroes, to give them joy and warmth,” said the mayor.
It is worth noting that some categories of citizens, including pensioners, can receive 'basic social assistance', the amount of which depends on the group to which the person belongs.
